[The first image the camera captures is a pair of large brown eyes, blinking sleepily before widening. They dart back and forth as their owner pulls the communicator back, showing a small pale face framed by dark curls, mouth curled into a frown. Zoom back a little more and the starry expanse from the deck is visible in the background.

The girl in the foreground bites at her bottom lip, licks it, looks around again before frowning at the communicator. She pulls it up closer, staring at the screen, and speaks one word with a distinct note of fear in her voice.]

People have explained a few things but I'm not quite sure I understand. Can you tell me what they mean by "breach"? Did I break something?

No, breaches are something else. It's something to do with how the Barge moves through the universe. It gets a little too close to someplace and it starts effecting everybody on board. Sometimes we'll think we're from other worlds or we all live together in a city. Half the time they're nothing bad and the rest of the time... it can be a nightmare.

And... what's happened in these breaches before? Have many people been hurt?

I haven't been here long enough to tell you but I can say the last one got a couple people killed. Hurt a few others.

What happened in the last one?

Last one was weird. Made us all think we were in a floating city. Had connections to people we never knew before. Lots of mad scientist stuff going on. I was living in the streets, myself.

I know that big headed blue guy and the question mark guy fought over the place or something. I think they ended up killing each other before the thing was over. Admiral brought 'em back though.
